The Investigator Organization Develops Maff Network Organizational Work Through a 5-Year Strategy

As part of the project “Strengthening the Rule of Law in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region,” the Investigator Organization for Rule of Law (IOL), in partnership with the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), organized a two-day open discussion workshop for the heads of member organizations of the “Maff Network” in Sulaymaniyah on October 2-3, 2025. The aim was to review and analyze the network’s strategy, structure, internal regulations, and future plan.

On the first day of the workshop, special attention was given to topics related to the internal functioning of the Network, such as setting a strategic plan, developing planning capabilities, coordination, communication skills, and campaign management to create impact and decision making process. .

On the second day, after reviewing the content of the first day, a draft of the Maff Network’s strategy for the years 2025-2029 was presented, and future plans for the Network were discussed. The network’s strategy was reviewed and revised again and approved by the member organizations of the Maff Network.

This step comes as part of the ongoing efforts exerted by the Investigator Organization and its partners to strengthen networking and institutional cooperation among legal civil society organizations, and to empower them to play a more effective role in promoting the principles of justice and the rule of law in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
